Creative Practice
Moving between artistic research and contemporary design, Susana Barbosa’s practice explores the dialogue between material transformation and the body. Through experimentation with conventional and unexpected materials, she creates wearable objects defined by minimal forms, expressive colour and a distinctive visual language.

Often created in response to exhibition themes, open calls and competitions, these works offer opportunities to explore new ideas, materials and processes, pushing the boundaries of jewellery while maintaining a close relationship with the body.
